Liberad
Cookies and site technology.
A guide to the technologies that can support browsing, WordPress administration and affiliate referrals, and the choices available to you.
Website functions and local drafts
Cookies are small records stored by a browser. Similar technologies can also store information on a device or use identifiers. Their purpose matters: a function needed to deliver a requested service is different from optional analytics or advertising.
Liberad uses WordPress. Administration, sign-in, security and certain enabled website functions can require cookies or similar records. The public contact-page draft builder does not need a tracking cookie and does not send the text you type to Liberad.
Local enquiry drafts are held in the page while you prepare them. Copying or downloading a draft puts a copy on your device. Browser and email-application behaviour after that point is separate from the website’s draft builder.
Optional technology and affiliate destinations
Optional analytics, advertising pixels and third-party media can have their own purposes and identifiers. Where consent is required, that technology must wait for the relevant choice. Information about a technology should explain its provider, purpose, duration and how to change the choice.
Following an affiliate link can take you through a network or to a merchant that uses its own attribution technology. The destination’s privacy and cookie information governs its processing; a Liberad policy does not replace those notices.
A change to hosting, plugins, embedded content or advertising can change how the website works. The published information and any consent controls need to reflect the technologies actually enabled, rather than a generic list of services that are not in use.
Control your browser and ask a question
Your browser can show stored cookies and provide controls to remove or block them. Blocking all cookies may affect features that need them. Browser controls do not necessarily withdraw a choice stored by an external service, so use that provider’s controls where relevant.
