Liberad

Links and commercial relationships.

What official links mean today, and how any future advertising would be identified.

The current position

As of 22 October 2026, Liberad is publishing independent editorial content without active advertiser promotions or affiliate-tracked article links. A button labelled “Official website” leads directly to the named brand, retailer or organisation. Liberad does not receive a referral commission from those ordinary links.

Discussion of a brand does not imply that it has approved, sponsored or partnered with Liberad. Merchants handle their own orders, payments, delivery and customer service.

If a commercial relationship is added

An affiliate arrangement can allow a publisher to receive a commission when a tracked referral meets a programme’s conditions. A click alone does not necessarily qualify. Advertiser approval, permitted channels, validation and exclusions vary by programme.

Before adding that kind of link, Liberad will identify the relationship close to the affected content. A paid feature that is advertising throughout needs a clear advertising label where the reader first encounters it, including relevant article previews. A general footer notice does not replace those labels.

Sponsored content, gifted products and other material benefits also need to be described in the context where they matter. The existence of a commission or a brand relationship is not evidence that a product is better.

Keep the recommendation useful

Commercial opportunity does not remove the need for accurate evidence, practical limitations or alternatives. Liberad will not describe an ordinary official-site link as commission-earning or invent programme approval.
